The Velcro straps around ankle and across top of foot make for a great fit for stability. If you have a wide size 12 foot, not even the XXLs will work well. 1013ym01 For such a short story, (and it really is according to my own standards), it isnt bad. With the 1000XMs, I had either bud fall out inexplicably, into the floor, dirt, grass, hard cement too many times to count.
