I also got the Park Tool chain cleaner (thats a little tougher to use, I think)--these brushes, while good, arent going to do much for the chain itself. I was afraid the wire was going to bother them but the padding that is on these dont hurt or cut into me at all. cj1671 103 Why 3 stars then? I got the bronze one and I think it looks good. cj1671 103 The only down side is that the inside of them is white, so they get dirty easily, especially if you wear them without socks on, but thats not enough of an issue to give them less than a five star rating. Walking over rocks and potential glass was not a concern for me as it would have been had I worn thinner flip flops.
