I wore them on a 30 minute walk along a city bike trail and I had absolutely no discomfort whatsoever; the straps didn’t chafe and there’s plenty of squish in the footbed. The drop from heel to toe also feels too high, I feel like my toes are angled downwards slightly too much (again compared with the Merrells, which are pretty flat). If you charge your controller just by plugging it in then it should be fine but if you use a charging stand it is very inconvenient and hard to slip into the charging dock.
