The NC is on constantly when using wirelessly, and combined with music playing isolate most constant sounds (test with the washing machine on), and even drowns out a lot of my constant keyboard noise, there is only so much NC can do though and you can occasionally still hear the faint sound of background talking, but overall I would say they do a great job without spending twice as much, the main thing for me was with NC on there is next to no hiss on quieter tracks / in between tracks / podcasts, The carabiner clip could have been designed a little better so that placement didnt put the case always having the back of the buds facing out. seiko presage srpf37j1 I use these earbuds with my iPad and my iPhone, pairing them to my devices was super easy.
